Hepburn reminds us once again why she is one of Hollywood's pivotal leading ladies.
5. "Lady and the Tramp" (1955) Two dogs and a plateful of spaghetti--who can forget this wonderful Disney classic where rich dog Lady falls for wrong-side-of-the-tracks mutt Tramp? Who knew that it would take two dogs to show us what true love is.
6. "Princess Bride" (1987) Dashing Wesley (Cary Elwes) and Princess Buttercup (Robin Wright Penn) ward off fairy tale villains in this classic comedy about "wuv, true wuv." Who could not fall in love with Wesley as he rolled down the hill shouting, "As you wish…"
7. "Moulin Rouge" (2001) Baz Luhrmann directs another musical extravaganza starring Nicole Kidman as Moulin Rouge "actress" Satine. Ewan McGregor plays starving writer Christian. 8. "My Fair Lady" (1964) A funny and sweet musical starring Audrey Hepburn as Eliza Doolittle, this film about turning a flower girl into a proper lady captured the hearts of audiences in 1964. Hepburn and Rex Harrison, who plays Henry Higgins, are quite the odd couple, but they sure are "loverly."
9. "Sweet Home Alabama" (2002) Reese Witherspoon stars as "Felony Melanie" in this romantic comedy also starring Patrick Dempsey and Josh Lucas.
Melanie, who is set to marry a New York politician's son (Dempsey), returns to Alabama to get a divorce from her husband (Lucas). But as the past haunts Melanie, she discovers that all she ever wanted was in Alabama all along.
10. "Virgin Snow" (2007) Set in Japan, Korean exchange student Min (Lee Joon Ki) falls in love with the beautiful artist Nanae (Aoi Miyazaki) while attending school. Language barriers, family illness and abusive, alcoholic parents do not influence this couple much, but will an unexpected disappearance and time apart? Truly one of the sweetest movies released within the past few years.
