Whose car is that?

Being editor in chief of The Chronicle often requires me to be on campus until the early hours of the morning.
Being here until the early hours of the morning affords me the ability to see things most students are not privy to.
For example, most students are completely unaware the late night custodians spend more time eating and watching TV than they do cleaning. At least the ones in the SUL building do.
I've also seen the car parked in the REC center parking lot until 3 or 4 a.m. I've often wondered about that car. It's a red, four-door early 90's model sedan and it never seems to leave.
At first, I thought it was Intramural Sports Coordinator Matt Dudzik working late. Then, I saw him getting into his pick-up truck one day.
Then, I thought it might be Sports Information Director Dave Fanno's car. This theory has yet to be proven false.
It's not abandoned because I've noticed it wasn't there a few times.
I've come up with a few, more interesting theories I'd like to share with you.
It could be the car of a lost sailor, who lost his life valiantly saving others in a freak intramural sailing accident. Someone could be moving it from time to time in order to throw off the authorities.
It could be the car of one of those people you see on talk shows who's addicted to exercise. Maybe she found some place to hide when the gym closes so she can stay inside for her fix.
Maybe it's the vehicle of a crazy former PUC basketball team manager who was deformed when a hot towel was thrown in his face. Now he lives below the gym, phantom-of-the-opera-style. He leaves from time to time for food or hygiene products.
It might just be the car of a disgruntled intramural hockey player whose team lost in the Cohen Cup finals. He's spent the last few years trying to devise a plan to steal the cup for himself. He's yet to steal the Cup, but he will only leave for cigarettes until he has that trophy.
Or maybe it's just a custodian's ride.
In any case, I'd like the owner of this automobile to contact me. Send me an email at chronicle_eic@yahoo.com.
I'll keep readers posted over the winter break online at www.pucchronicle.com.
