Computer equipment and other objects were taken from the CLO, Gyte-Annex and Anderson buildings on Sunday, Jan. 7.
The objects were allegedly stolen from laboratories connected to the school of education. Other objects, such as furniture were reported to be damaged. A fire alarm was allegedly pulled to divert the attention of campus police.
Police Chief Stephen Chaddock refused comment.
This crime is not the first instance of computer theft on campus recently. Last fall, there were computers stolen from the educational media lab in Gyte. On another occasion within the last three months, computers were stolen from within the vicinity of the first theft.

Further information is being withheld to keep the investigation from falling into jeopardy, said Wes Lukoshus, assistant vice chancellor for advancement.
The campus police have not revealed any information in regards to tightening security on campus.
The case is currently under investigation and no suspects have been announced.
